This is a new series I want to start here where I casually share my monthly wellness favorites with you and share with you how they have helped my health and wellbeing. I'm keeping this casual, which mean no “photoshoot-esc" pics (I'm keeping this as aesthetic as I can handle at the moment hehe), or a long editorial describing each one in detail.
I just want to share some of the things that brought me joy this month in the hopes that maybe it could do the same for you too. And bring some awareness as to how its often the small things in our life that contribute the most to our health and wellness, especially the things you wouldn't congenitally think of as "wellness" things ;)
So here are my February Favs of 2023:

My Water Bottle:
1st on the list has truly helped my Physical Health on so many levels.
Yes I realize I'm starting this list with a more traditionally known "wellness" thing but I actually feel the reason I put this hear isn't talked enough about in the wellness world.
Everyone talks about how it's so important to drink enough water but no one talks about how equally important (I can say this due to my air-tight well prepared argument on this) it is to have a drinking water bottle/cup/ apparatus that we love!
I'm not even joking when I say that just getting something that I enjoy drinking water from has CHANGED the hydration game for me!!!
If you don't believe me, ask all the people who saw me buy the thing on my stories, and go buy one for themselves (another capitalism moment I get it, but at least it's working for us hehe) without me ever saying " you need to buy one"...they just knew it was right for them.
It has truly been the best thing i've done for my body so far this year.
It helped me to hit my 2 litre water mark quiet easily for weeks now and my body, hair (it’s looking healthier already), skin (so hydrated and plump) and nails are soo grateful for it 🙏🏼

Podcast- People Like You and Me:
I was never one to listen to podcasts. That changed when Nour from People Like You And Me started her own podcast and gave me my first chance to be on a guest on a podcast. This gave me first row seat to how powerful podcasts can be.
So, apparently I just needed to find the right podcasts.
You can listen to the episode I did with Nour and all the other wonderful people she hand picks Here.
Listening to some of the people on this podcast has made me feel less alone and truly made me feel more connected to people on a soul level. It helps us see how truly magical we all are and seeing it in others really helps us see it in ourselves.
Nour herself (a budding business coach in training) has also created a new podcast that I just know is going to be just as incredible as this one for all things business for Solopreuners.
This podcast has opened the gate for me to try other ones and listening to the right ones has helped my occupational (helped me in my business) and social wellness (helped me meet and build healthy relationships with new people.)

Local Leave in Condiditoner:
One of the many things I had to say goodbye to when the dollar kept rising these past few months are some of my favorite hair care products.
Because:
I couldn’t find them anymore
If I did, I couldn’t justify how expesive they cost now.
So, to the local market I went and I am soo proud to say that after such a long process of trial and error i’ve finally found my new favorite leave in conditioner, shampoo and conditioner line.
For context, I have Type 2 Curly Hair, that’s mostly LP.
The leave-in from Gold and Bees, smells good, is light on my hair while also hydrates it so well without weighing it down. You don’t need a lot of it and its packaging is so feminine, I love love love it.
Amanda I think it's great value for cost cause you don't end up using a lot on your hair so I imagine it will last me quite a bit. It retails at 250EGP for 200ml.
You can get it here if you want to try it.
Now you must be thinking how does this help with your wellbeing. Well, considering that I've been looking for a leave in that I love for months now, every time I would come out of the shower and do my hair, It would stress me out (a little more every day) how dry it's becoming. Not to mention, when I don't feel like my hair looks good, it affects my confidence, which affects my mental health...you see where I'm going with this right 😉

Red Nail Polish:
I would never put red nail polish on, it was just too bold for me I guess. Until I heard the theory of how red nail polish people are more “Abundant” and then applied it to my own life experience and I realised how much evidence I have that proved it right.
And if you're thinking, here's the placebo affect in action, you'd be right! The abundance IS happening because I believe it, because we are the masters of our Universe. And our inner world shapes our outer world, so if putting the best red nail polish for me helps me get on that abundant high vibration then paint me red all over!
I found my fav color by adding these two on top of each other, starting with the one on the left.

If you know of a nail polish that can give me the same effect by using just one bottle I'd love if you can DM it to me ^_^
Something as simple as your nail polish (or your nails in a clean, polished state) truly makes my day brighter and helps with my self confidence, which in turn affects my mental health.
Bgd, it's in the little things💅

Karak Tea:
I’m ending this monthly favs with this instant Karak tea that makes me want to go Qatar ( I hear its where it's most popular even though apparently Karak tea originated in India) just to try the real deal. Or the very least make it from scartch at home 😂
But since any recipe I try won’t ever be as fast as literally opening the pack, pouring it in a mug and adding hot water on it while stirring, I’m glad I found this Tea Break option for when I need my Karak tea fix!
I love drinking hot drinks right when I wake up, especially in the winter time, but since I don't like drinking coffee (and it's one of my migraine triggers) my go to is a form of herbal tea. I don't know if you know this but hot drinks are actually a great way to ease our nervous system and calms our body.
But there is something about having a warm drink (with your choice of milk) that forms maybe a more psychological calming effect than just a warm tea that's only water. And that's how this Karak tea has been helping my Emotional Health this month. It gives me this warm sensation that I'm drinking something as cozy as hot chocolate but it's tea, cardamom and just all kinds of goodness (I now want one hehe.)
That’s it for this months "not your typical wellness" favorite. Thank you for making it this far ^_^
If you love or tried any of the above let me know by sending me a DM. And if you want to share with me anything that helped your wellness this past month go to this post and comment down below, so I could maybe try some and feature them in the next Monthly Wellness Fas ^_^
I appreciate you with all my heart ✨
